At the end of the year in the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses, the volume of products and services rendered will amount to 1.7 trillion tenge

Due to timely anti-crisis measures, 118.9 thousand business entities received tax incentives, 641 entities were granted deferred loans for 23.7 billion tenge. Reduced rent payments for 6,5 thousand tenants from 30% to 90% in the private sector, 690 business entities are completely exempt from payments for rent of communal property.

16.2 billion tenge was allocated to support entrepreneurship under the "business Road map", "Enbek" programs and at the expense of the "Damu" Fund. 158 projects were financed, 836 people received micro-loans, 3,645 people were sent for training under the Bastau Business project, and 1,659 grants were issued for the development of new business ideas.

Thus, in Almaty region, by the end of the year, the volume of products produced and services rendered in the field of SMB will amount to 1.7 trillion tenge, the share of small and medium-sized businesses in the gross regional product will increase to 34% (2019 – 33.6%).
