46.1 billion tenge was allocated to support agriculture this year

This year 46.1 billion tenge was allocated to support agriculture,  where 40.6 billion tenge – subsidies.

Aagricultural crops were increased by 7 thousand hectares and brought to 969 thousand hectares. The area of sugar beet has reached 16 thousand hectares, corn – 87 thousand hectares, new gardens have been laid on 1.2 thousand hectares.

Harvesting of cereals has been completed, 794 thousand tons of grain have been threshed (2019 – 800.0 thousand tons), about 1.9 million tons of vegetables and potatoes, 133 thousand tons of fruit have been collected. It is planned to collect 500 thousand tons of sugar beet and produce 50 thousand tons of white sugar. Together with investors, sugar factories for processing raw cane are being modernized, which will ensure  cover about 70% of the country's demand for white sugar by 2023 (output-350 thousand tons, demand – 480 thousand tons).
