About 24.5 thousand tons of products were collected in the greenhouse complexes of the region

Much attention is paid to the development of greenhouses in the region. Most of these complexes use modern technologies. For example, "Ecoproducts" greenhouse complex  in Uighur region, use Turkish technology which works completely in the automatic mode. They are planning to receive up to 500 tons of the products per year. Whole greenhouses of Almaty region collected  24.5 thousand tons of products.

One of the most effective measures that contribute to self-sufficiency of the region with vegetables in the off-season, ensuring food security and stabilizing prices for vegetables is the development of greenhouses. From this point of view, the fertility land and the favorable climate of the Uyghur region are most beneficial for the development of greenhouse farming. In addition, the transition to advanced technologies, such as the introduction of automated systems, drip irrigation, fertilization and installation of heating systems, allow farms to improve the quality and increase the volume of products received. Both the heat of hot springs and the energy of sunlight are used, which generally helps to reduce costs and positively affects the ecology of the region.

Today, there are 13 greenhouses in the Uyghur district. Over the past year, the total area of greenhouses increased by 15%, taking up a total area of 12 hectares.

According to the information of the regional department of agriculture, 101 greenhouses are registered in the Almaty region on an area of 101.1 hectares. They collected 24.5 thousand tons of products.
