In Almaty region implemented a number of investment projects to purchase land for the construction of roads: "Western Europe - Western China", "Greater Almaty ring road" (hereinafter - "BAKAD")," Almaty - Kapshagai", FEZ PIT"Alatau".
For the construction of the "Western Europe – Western China" highway, the area of the seized land plot is 3,145. 02 ha (948 owners), of which 808 plots with an area of 1,147. 5 ha are being purchased.
Currently, 782 plots with a total area of 1078.6 hectares have been purchased for the amount of 4 billion 595 million tenge.
26 plots with an area of 48.86 ha are to be withdrawn.
Under the BAKAD project, according to preliminary calculations, 760 land plots with a total area of 746.7 hectares were included in the allotment area.
After clarification of the land plots included in the allotment lane of the highway, their number amounted to 955 with a total area of 697.91 ha, of which 39 plots with an area of 63.7 ha were purchased in 2007.
To carry out the reconstruction of the Almaty-Kapshagai section, 61 land plots with an area of 31.2 ha had to be withdrawn, of which 43 plots with an area of 18.44 ha were to be purchased.
