UAPF found owners of 675 thousand inactive accounts

Employees of the Unified accumulative pension Fund in 2019 established contacts with 675 thousand owners of inactive "sleeping" accounts. This category of accounts is not topped up for one year or more. Including self-employed, unemployed, and persons who temporarily do not pay pension contributions on maternity leave for more than one year, students, interns, trainees, Housewives, disabled persons, soldiers, prisoners.

As part of the information and explanatory work of the UAPF,depositors were informed about the importance of making transfers of mandatory pension contributions, as a result of the work carried out, 523,202 contributions totaling 4 billion tenge were received to 128 thousand individual pension accounts.

Thus, the UAPF continues to work with "dormant" accounts and searches for depositors who have not replenished their accounts in recent years.

 

UAPF was established on August 22, 2013 on the basis of JSC " NPF "GNPF". The founder and shareholder of the UAPF is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the state property and privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The national Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides trust management of pension assets of the UAPF. Since January 1, 2016, the functions of developing proposals to improve the efficiency of pension assets management have been transferred to the National Fund management Council. In accordance with the pension legislation, the UAPF attracts mandatory pension contributions, mandatory professional pension contributions, voluntary pension contributions, pension payments, individual accounting of pension savings and payments, and provides the depositor (recipient) with information about the status of his / her pension savings (for more information, see www.enpf.kz).
