Dear owners of vehicles imported from the EAEU countries!

We draw the attention of those car owners who currently do not have the opportunity to register imported vehicles to the opportunity provided by the legislation to carry out temporary registration of cars imported as of February 1, 2020.

Temporary registration will be valid until March 1, 2021 and is carried out without the right to alienate and transfer the rights of use and disposal to other persons. Payment of the state registration fee and state fee is required.

So, for temporary registration in a Specialized service center of the population at the place of residence, you must provide the following documents:

identification card;
previous license plates for the car;
documents confirming the right of ownership;
receipts for payment: fees for initial registration, state fees for the production of the state number and technical passport.

The amount of the initial registration fee depends on the age of the vehicle:

- up to two years – 0.25 MCI (662 tenge);

- from two to three years – 50 MCI (132,550 tenge);

- older than three years – 500 MCI (1 325 500 tenge).

The state fee for the production of a technical passport is 1.25 MCI (3,313 tenge), for the production of a state number - 2.8 MCI (7,422 tenge).

Temporary registration allows car owners to pay the recycling fee and customs payments by March 1, 2021. After payment of these payments, the vehicle is permanently registered.
