Within the framework of the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, work is underway to introduce a Digital Family Card. The issues of updating data for entering them into the information system were discussed at a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Altai Kulginov.
The digital family card accumulates information from various government agencies that allow determining the level of social well-being of citizens in order to provide guaranteed state support. To update the data, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with other central authorities and akimats, is currently carrying out large-scale work. Clarification is carried out in several categories. State agencies count children who are not covered by preschool and school education, NEET youth, persons not included in the OSMS system, and others.
For example, during the revision of the data, it was revealed that 152 thousand children are waiting in line for places in kindergartens. In addition, about 143 thousand are registered in the queue for housing.
"The purpose of the Digital Family Card is to identify categories of people who need state support measures, employment, benefits and other assistance. A number of regions are working on updating the data insufficiently quickly and fully. Ministries and akimats need to ensure the accuracy and correctness of the data entering the Digital Map. There is less than a month left to complete this work," Altai Kulginov stressed, summing up the meeting
