How to get an EDS if you are abroad

No one is immune from unforeseen situations and if it was almost impossible to get an EDS while abroad before, now you can contact the embassy or consulate to get an EDS.
To do this, you need to:
- install the NCALayer program
- apply for an "EDS for individuals" on the portal www.pki.gov.kz
-enter your IIN and fill in the appropriate fields
- provide an identity card and an application formed after submitting the application to the consular official
- wait for the confirmation of the application by an official in the information system
- activate the issued certificates (EDS) on the portal www.pki.gov.kz
To date, the service is available in 10 diplomatic missions located in the cities of Abu Dhabi, Bishkek, Washington, Moscow, New York, Prague, St. Petersburg, Seoul, Istanbul and Frankfurt am Main.
