Given the situation all over the world on behalf of akim of Almaty oblast according to the presidential decree No. 285 of March 15, 2020 "On the introduction of a state of emergency in the Republic of Kazakhstan" all tourist attractions of the region will be temporarily closed.

Current situation in the tourist market of the region

Museums, including the Tanbaly Museum-reserve, will be temporarily closed to visitors from March 16, 2020.

Tourist complexes "Eight lakes", "Tabagan", "Akbulak" in the Talgar district have suspended their activities since March 17, 2020. The mountain resort "OI-Karagai-Lesnaya Skazka" accepts residents for recreation with the strengthening of sanitary and hygienic standards.

Recreation areas on hot springs in the Uyghur district plan to suspend work from 12.00 hours on March 18, 2020.

Sanatoriums "Karatal" in eskelda district suspended their activities from March 16, "Zharkent-Arasan", "Kerimagash" in Panfilov district operate in an enhanced sanitary and hygienic regime with the use of restrictions on the number of visitors.
