Anti-corruption legislative norms were explained to the staff of the Tourism Department of Almaty region

Today, the head of the Department of Prevention and Integrity of the Department of the Agency for Combating Corruption in the Almaty region, Askar Sadykov, held a meeting on prevention and combating corruption for employees of the Tourism Department of the Almaty region. In his speech, Askar Sadykov spoke about the adopted innovations in anti-corruption legislation, the importance of analyzing corruption risks in the quasi-public sector and strengthening the responsibility of top managers for committing corruption offenses by subordinates. She also noted that the institute of anti-corruption compliance service has been introduced, which is responsible for compliance with integrity standards and anti-corruption legislation.

The seminar also highlighted the importance of taking preventive measures. The participants of the meeting were informed about the projects implemented by the Department "Zhetisu adaldyk alany", the possibilities of the platform "Interactive Map of Open Budgets", the ISO 37001 platform, about the new system of encouraging citizens who reported corruption, about the work of the Call Center of the Anti-Corruption Service 1424.
