The winners of the regional competition "The state language-a symbol of independence" were awarded, which was held among the youth of the ethnic group

Тhe awarding ceremony of the winners of the regional competition "State language-a symbol of independence" was held today in the Palace of Languages, which was held among the youth of ethnic groups.

This competition is traditionally held in order to expand the scope of the state language, strengthen the functioning of the Kazakh language as a language of interethnic communication, and encourage active youth of other nationalities who speak the state language.

The jury consisted of Professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of the Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Candidate of Philological Sciences Gulnar Syrlybayeva, Deputy director of the Zhetysu TV channel Dosan Kyzaibaevich, head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Almaty region Toleuzhan Gumarov.

The competition was held in two stages. At the first stage, the jury evaluated the video materials that passed the selection round from the districts and cities, received at the request of the contest participants. The second stage of the competition was held online. In it, the participants reflected on a given topic and revealed the content of proverbs. By the decision of the jury, the first place was taken by Aziz Abdushakirov (Panfilov district), the second place was awarded to Zaitunyam Rashitova (Talgar district) and the third place was shared by Natalia Musabay (Kerbulak district) and Victoria Kirpichenko (Uyghur district).
