A seminar was held

       The Department for the Development of Languages of the Almaty region in the village of Shonzhy, Uyghur district, held a special seminar on "Naming and renaming the constituent parts of settlements, as well as clarifying and changing the transcription of their names, legalizing street names within the district".

    The seminar was attended by deputies of the district maslikhat, akim of the district, akims of rural districts, members of the local community.

     The head of the Department Bolat Kerimbek made a welcoming speech on the issue of the agenda, who noted a number of works carried out in the field of onomastics.

    And the head of the department of onomastic work and analysis, Yermek Akshabayev, explained in detail the legality of assigning and renaming onomastic objects.

    The participants of the seminar asked their questions and received specific and satisfactory answers.

        The results of the seminar-meeting were summed up by the akim of the Uyghur district Shukhrat Nurakhunov.
