The regional meeting was held in an online format

The regional meeting on the implementation of the "State Program for the implementation of the language policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025: on the work done, upcoming tasks" was held today.

The online format was attended by the staff of the Department for the Development of Languages of the Almaty region, representatives of the district departments of culture and language development, employees of the regional educational and methodological center " Til " and its city and district branches.

The report was made by the head of the Department for the Development of languages of the Almaty region B. Kerimbek.

A lot of work has been done in the region as part of the implementation of the language policy, and certain tasks have been set. Today we expressed an important opinion on the implementation of the action plan for the implementation of the state program for the implementation of the language policy for 2020-2025 and the tasks to be completed in 2021.

Director of the Akhmet Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics, Candidate of Philological Sciences Anar Fazylzhan made a report on the topic "The importance of switching to the Latin alphabet" and noted that the modernization of writing is the revival of the language.

The head of the Department of Culture and Language Development of Talgar district F. Begenbayeva and the head of the Department of Culture and Language Development of Uygur district D. Tabyldiev also spoke at the online meeting.

During the meeting, various issues were discussed, and suggestions were made to improve the language situation.
