Almaty region is located in the "yellow" zone

According to the matrix for assessing the epidemiological situation in the regions of Kazakhstan, as of January 18, 2021, the Almaty region is in the "yellow" zone.

About 8191 cases of Covid-19 were registered in January.

Over the past week, 536 cases of infection were detected, and 94 cases were registered yesterday. In Taldykorgan-23, Zhambyl-14, Talgar-9, Enbekshikazakh-8, Panfilov-8, Ily-7, Karatal-7, Eskeldy-5, Uyghur districts-4.

536 people are being treated in hospitals, 30 of them are in serious condition, and 356 people are being treated on an outpatient basis.

Due to the epidemiological situation with the coronavirus, additional restrictive measures will be introduced in the region from January 21, 2021.
