LANGUAGE IS A HISTORICAL VALUE

On December 7, a regional online seminar on the regulation of onomastic names in the region was held in the Palace of Languages.
The seminar was conducted by the head of the Department of Language Development of Almaty region Bolat Kerimbek.
The event was attended by Kuanysh Daurembekov, Director of the Directorate for Protection and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of Zhambyl region, Balzhan Sydygaliyeva,  the head of the department of legal information, Sauran Kaliyev ,the director of the Center for Spirituality and Historiography named after Sherkhan Murtaza, also attended employees of the department, the director and teachers of the educational and methodical center "Til", heads of district and city departments of culture and language development, language activists, media representatives.
 At the end of the meeting, the head of the department thanked the guests and participants of the seminar, who came from afar. In order to exchange experience, the two neighboring regions shared  with valuable works accumulated over the years, valuable information and books on the history of languages and onomastics in the regions.
By the way, the sea is made of drops, and the history of our great Motherland begins in rural areas. Research and propaganda work on the settlements and historical place-names of Zhetysu region will be continued.
