- The Department for the development of languages of Almaty region together with the Almaty regional branch of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, the Zhetysu literary club "Janr" and the International Society "Kazak Tili" announces a competition "Til – gumyr" for the prize of the akim of Almaty region "Akkauyrsyn"in order to promote spiritual values, foster patriotism among young people, promote the development of literature and raise the status of the state language within the framework of the program "Rukhanizhangyru", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- The purpose of the competition:
- Implementation of the state program for the implementation of language policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025;
- Popularization of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- development and support of modern Kazakh literature popularizing the ideas and values of spiritual modernization;
- raising the status of the state language;
- popularization of young writers.

- The organizer of the competition is the Department of Language Development of Almaty region.
- The announcement of the competition is published in the media and posted on the website of the Department.

- Terms of the competition
- Poetry Competition:
1) one poem on the theme" Language and independence";
2) one poem on a free topic
Prose competition:
1)Work on the theme "Language is the pillar of independence" to raise the status of the state language, to promote the unity of the country.
- Each previously unpublished work of the author must consist of 8 pages of poetry and 15 pages of prose. In addition, the work must be typed on a computer in Times New Roman font, size 1.5, size 14.
- Winners of the contest (3 people) aged 20-45 years (writers, poets, journalists) who have passed the district and city qualifying rounds can take part in the competition.
- When evaluating a work, attention will be paid to a high artistic level, originality of ideas, literary and artistic value, consistency and meaning of the story, conformity to the genre, equality of aesthetic effects, absence of grammatical and stylistic elements of error, comprehensive disclosure of the topic (plagiarism).
- The competition accepts works developed in compliance with all conditions (technical, substantive, etc.).
- Works are accepted from March 20, 2021 to April 20. The electronic version of the work, the participant's full name (scanned version of the identity card), residence address, mobile phone number, e-mail address, brief information about the biography and work (according to the attached form) are sent to the address board.
- Works will be judged by a panel of renowned writers. The jury's decision is not subject to revision.
- All works submitted for the competition are selected and recognized as the best, which are published on the official website of the department and in social networks.
- The time of awarding the winners will be announced later.
- The first place winner of the competition will be awarded a special prize of Almaty region akim "White Feather". Winners will also be awarded with special diplomas, letters of thanks and an approved prize fund. Winners of the "Akkauyrsyn" award for the last 3 years will not participate in the competition.
