The new restrictions came into force on October 29

Chief sanitary doctor of Almaty region Yergali Sydymanov signed a new decree on the introduction of additional restrictive measures in the region. The new restrictions came into force on October 29.
According to the document, the operation of public catering facilities (cafes, restaurants, canteens, coffee shops, doners, bars) will be suspended if more than 30 seats are filled. In General, catering facilities will work on weekdays from 9: 00 to 22: 00, on weekends-only delivery.
It is prohibited to operate preschool organizations, with the exception of duty groups (no more than 15 people), entertainment facilities, children's playgrounds in shopping facilities, indoor attractions, swimming pools, cinemas, with the exception of outdoor cinemas.
Public transport will operate from 06: 00 to 17: 00, and the interval between flights during peak hours should not exceed 5 minutes.
On weekends, a ban is imposed on the activities of shopping centers with an area of 2 thousand square meters or more, with the exception of grocery supermarkets and pharmacies located in them. Covered markets will also be closed on weekends.
