Agricultural industry
Agricultural enterprises of the district produced gross agricultural output in the amount of 5.2 billion tenge, the index of physical volume will be 102.6% (expected data).
The total sown area will be 32.6 thousand hectares, including cereals 13.6 thousand hectares, oilseeds 4.6 thousand hectares, potatoes 3.1 thousand hectares, vegetables 2.7 thousand hectares, melons 220 hectares, 8434 hectares of forage crops.
For the 2021 harvest, 3,850 hectares of winter grain crops were sown in the district, including 1,800 hectares of winter wheat, and 2,050 hectares of winter barley.
To date, 8,750 hectares of land have been plowed, harrowing of winter crops and 5,678 hectares of perennial grasses has been carried out, and moisture supply has been provided on an area of 22,532 hectares. 1650 hectares of spring grain crops were sown.
500 tons of cheaper fuel and lubricants were allocated for spring field work, 4 farms submitted an application for 223 tons, of which 62 tons were received.
According to the moisture-saving technology, the area of grain crops will be cultivated on 5000 hectares, according to drip irrigation-825 hectares, according to rain irrigation-1710 hectares.
In order to provide the population of the city of Almaty and the district with vegetable products, 18 greenhouses out of 9 owners operate in the district.
For the 1st quarter of 2021, 2,513 tons of meat (103.5%), 15.4 thousand tons of milk (104.0%), and 5.6 million eggs will be produced. (100%).
In 2021, it is planned to implement 4 investment projects with a total cost of 1.7 billion tenge, where 66 jobs will be created.
"Baimene" LLP (S. Panfilov) - planting of an intensive garden on 40 hectares, the project cost is 550 million tenge, 15 jobs; (implementation year 2021-2022);
KazNAU LLP (Baibulak village) - construction of an industrial greenhouse on an area of 1 ha, the project cost is 645 million tenge, 25 jobs will be created;
"Baiserke – Agro" LLP (Arkabay village) - expansion of the dairy farm, the project cost is 200 million tenge, 10 jobs will be created;
Nurbekov farm (Besagash village) – construction of a feedlot, the project cost is 350 million tenge, 16 jobs will be created.
Industry
There are 366 enterprises in the industry, which employ 2374 people. Of these, 1 is large, 87 is medium-sized, and 52 is small.
The expected volume of manufactured industrial products is 12.3 billion tenge, the index of physical volume is 102.0%.
This year, 2 industrial facilities were opened:
- TemirSak LLP - production of chairs on a metal frame, production capacity-120 thousand pieces of chairs per year, the amount of investment - 450,0 million tenge, 90 new jobs (Panfilovo village);
- "Medicar" LLP - production of prosthetic and orthopedic products, production capacity-4600 units per year, investment amount - 2150,0 million tenge, 47 new jobs.
Small and medium-sized businesses
The number of active small and medium-sized businesses was 10,851 units, employing 21,500 people.
Products totaling 20.0 billion tenge were produced. Tax revenues from entrepreneurship-4.1 billion tenge, which accounted for 23.3% of the total budget revenues (tax revenues -18.4 billion tenge).
The expected volume of retail trade turnover is 13.0 billion tenge, the growth rate is 101.0%. IFO-94.2%.
Under the "Economy of Simple Things" program, 9 projects worth 1.6 billion tenge were approved:
- "ADK Index" LLP-modernization of the plant for the production of building materials-115.0 million tenge;
- "P. T. Z." LLP-expansion of the plant for the production of office furniture-500.0 million tenge;
- IP "Sadykov S. A." - purchase of dairy cows-60.0 million tenge;
- KH "Slavyanka" - purchase of dairy cows-69.9 million tenge;
- "DANA" LLP-private educational school-155.0 million tenge;
- Sole proprietor DITERRA-cultivation of grain crops-10.8 million tenge;
- Alugal LLP-aluminum profiles and facades-500 million tenge;
- IP Mendikeeva K.-processing and preservation of meat-50.0 million tenge;
- Intellservice LLP-production of paper products for household and sanitary purposes-89.5 million tenge.
2 projects worth 1.9 billion tenge are being considered in second-tier banks.
- IE "Eszhan", the project cost - 250.0 million tenge;
- "OI-QARAGAI LESNAYA SKAZKA" LLP, the project cost is 1700.0 million tenge.
Since the beginning of the year, 8 business objects have been opened (shop, service station, shopping malls, etc.), 80 new jobs have been created.
Investment, construction, housing
The expected volume of investments in fixed assets is 10.6 billion tenge, the index of physical volume is 102.2%.
The volume of construction works amounted to 3.7 billion tenge, or 246.7 % compared to last year.
57.6 thousand square meters of housing will be commissioned, which is 158.7% more than in 2020.
Budget
The budget received 18.4 billion tenge or 105.7 % of the plan. Including to the republican budget -14.4 billion tenge (plan 100.0%), to the local budget-4.0 billion tenge (132.8 % of the plan).
The district budget received 1.6 billion tenge, the forecast was fulfilled by 121.6%.
The rural budget received 432.1 million tenge, the forecast was fulfilled by 170.0 %.
The volume of budget expenditures amounted to 2.5 billion tenge, which is 99.9 % of the plan.
Water supply, gas supply
Of the 47 localities, 44 localities have centralized water supply systems, with a coverage rate of 93.6%. The non-centralized villages of Elaman, Orman, and Zhanaarna.
Of the 47 localities in the district, 29 localities have gas supplies, or 61.7%.
18 SNPs are not connected to gas (Dostyk, Elaman, Zhanaarna, zhanalyk, Koktal, Kainar, Daulet, Saktan, terenkara, Kishi Baiserke, Kamenskoe Plateau, Tonkeris, Akdala, Aktas, Nura, Tuganbay, Karatogan, Ostemir).

Roads
In 2021, 539.5 million tenge was allocated from the local budget for road repairs.
Currently, competitive procedures are being conducted for the repair of 14.6 km of roads (medium and current) and for the installation of road signs and 2 traffic lights.
Social sphere
Education
In 49 general education schools in the 2020-2021 academic year, 47563 students are enrolled.
The quality of knowledge in the third quarter of the 2020-2021 academic year is 63%.
Distance learning
Due to the quarantine, all schools undergo distance learning. All schools are 100% internet-enabled.

Healthcare
The total birth rate increased by 185 cases compared to last year, and the total death rate increased by 114 cases. Infant mortality decreased by 3 cases.
Employment
Under the program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship "Enbek", 10 people received a grant in the amount of 5.8 million tenge. 61 people were sent to social jobs, 20 people were sent to youth practice, 534 people were sent to public works, 69.6 million tenge was spent.
Culture, sports and tourism
This year, within the framework of the special project "Auyl El besigi" for the overhaul of the DC s.Besagash allocated 371.0 million tenge. Repair work will begin in April this year.
There are 246 sports facilities in the district. Of these, 3 stadiums, 2 sports and recreation complexes, 9 swimming pools, 64 sports halls, 60 sports fields, 57 football fields, 12 mini-football fields of the latest type, 6 tennis courts, 4 ski slopes, 1 indoor hockey field, 5 sports schools, etc.24 sports facilities. There are 28 tourist facilities in the district. Of these, 5 holiday homes, 4 recreation centers, 2 health camps and 17 hotels.
According to the program "With a diploma to the village", 26 specialists of the social sphere received one-time lifting allowances in the amount of 7.6 million tenge.
Law and order
In January-February 2021, 165 crimes were registered, compared to last year, it decreased by 48 cases (2020-213).
Of these, serious crimes for 2 cases, especially serious-for 1 case.
