The rules for calculating total income have been changed

The amount of housing certificates will not be taken into account when calculating the total income of the family applying for the TSA appointment. Such changes were made to the Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 28, 2009 “On approval of the Rules for calculating the total income of a person (family) applying for TSA”.

The changes will come into effect at the beginning of March this y after 10 calendar days after the first official publication.

A housing certificate is provided to secure an initial payment of 1 million tenge when purchasing housing. This is the type of assistance from local executive bodies that citizens of Kazakhstan can count on.

The list of recipients includes workers in the field of health care, education, social security, culture, sports, police services, as well as large, single-parent families and families with or raising disabled children. The certificate is provided to cover up to 90% of the required down payment.

It is planned that this year in all regions of the country, on behalf of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, explanatory seminars will be held on the implementation of the housing program "Bakhytty Otbasy" for the target group. A wide information campaign will be carried out by "House Construction Savings Bank" and the departments for the coordination of employment and social programs of the regions.

The first 100 housing certificates were issued at the end of 2018 in the capital of the country. In 2019, about 198 residents of the Almaty region received 1 million tenge each. Following the example of the capital, certificates began to be issued in all regions of the republic.
