Changes were made to the order about the rehabilitation of disabled people

Persons with disabilities will conclude an agreement with individual assistants directly, and this rule will also apply to relatives. These and other changes were made to the Order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 22, 2015 No. 26 "On some issues of rehabilitation of disabled people" at the request of people with special needs.

According to the Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan YerlanAukenov, within the framework of personal receptions, conference calls and in written requests, persons with disabilities most often left comments and suggestions regarding the provision of individual assistant services.

From July 2020, the services of individual assistants will be transferred to the Social Services Portal, after which the contract will be concluded directly between the disabled person and the individual assistant, which may also be close relatives of a person with special needs.
