4.6% increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Taldykorgan

To date, there are 288 people with positive COVID status in Almaty region-19. 97 patients receive inpatient treatment in medical institutions of the region, and 13 were transferred to home quarantine. 179 were discharged with recovery.

"The increase in the number of infected people in the region is due to non-compliance with precautionary measures. I would like to remind you that quarantine measures are still in place in the region. And the relief does not apply to the city of Taldykorgan, Kerensky and Talgar districts. In the regional center, the increase in morbidity is 4.6%. Therefore, strictly observe the mask mode and social distance, " - said the head of health of the Almaty region Bauyrzhan Yankak.

We emphasize that today there are 6 laboratories in the region to detect this disease. So, in the region, 2.5 thousand studies on COVID-19 are conducted per day. And with the opening of another laboratory facility in the city of Taldykorgan, this figure will be brought to 3 thousand studies per day.
