A set of anti-epidemic measures is being implemented in Almaty region

On February 17, 2020, the Deputy chief health officer of the country signed a decree "on further strengthening measures to prevent coronavirus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan". According to which, from February 20, citizens of Kazakhstan who arrived from China will be isolated in hospitals and placed in quarantine for a period of 14 days. Then, the next 10 days will be under the special control of doctors already at the place of residence. Patients who show signs of illness during the examination will be immediately admitted to an infectious disease hospital and will be monitored for 14 days in a separate ward.

Currently, border traders, truckers and ship owners intend to return to Kazakhstan. When they return home, we must ensure maximum security. Therefore, dear residents! Do not forget that when you return from China, regardless of your health condition, you will be in a hospital, where you will be monitored by doctors for 14 days. And the transport will be treated with a disinfectant solution. It should be noted that a complex of anti-epidemic measures is being conducted in the Almaty region. In the Alakol, Uighur and Panfilov districts located near China, coronovirus infection was not detected. Therefore, there is no reason to worry.
