Residents of Zhetysu region celebrated the Tatar holiday "Sabantuy". This event was held on June 18 in the village of Denlik, Eskeldinsky district.

Sabantuy is the most fun, beloved and solemn holiday of the Tatar and Bashkir peoples. The holiday is a meeting place, a gathering of relatives and cheerful friends.  On this holiday, they will compete in sports in strength, agility, and strength.  Sabantuy, preserving its traditions and Customs, has become a symbol of the unity of Kazakhstanis as a connecting force between the past and the future of the people.

Within the framework of the event, sports and game competitions were organized: National Wrestling "Kuryash", "running with a spoon", "boy Gorshkov", "running with a bucket" and others. The concert program with the participation of creative teams and laureates of international and national competitions and festivals pleased the audience and guests of the holiday.  And guests from Tatarstan Alsu Ibragimova and Rustam Yegorov became the decoration of the concert program.

At the end of the holiday, the winners of sports games and active participants of the event were awarded with letters of thanks.
