On May 31, within the framework of the day of remembrance of victims of political repression and the 30th anniversary of the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting of youth organizations was held in Almaty.

The event was attended by representatives of the NGO "Assembly of youth" of Almaty and Almaty region, the APK.

During the meeting, the participants shared their experience in implementing projects in the regions, plans for the future, and discussed topical issues in the field of interethnic relations and youth policy.

The film "Talan" by the Kazakh director B. Kalymbetov was shown. The film tells about the period experienced by our ancestors in the 20s and 30s of the last century. The story tells about the meeting of two orphaned children in a dramatic environment during the years of famine and repression.

At the end of the meeting, a tour of the Republican building "Kogamdyk kelisim" of Almaty was organized, where he got acquainted with the work of the institution.
