Competitive exhibition"image of my mother" completed in Almaty region

In Semirechye, on the eve of the holiday on March 8, the winners of the competition-exhibition "Anamnyn beynesi", collected from the works of schoolchildren, students and professional artists, were determined.

The event was initiated by the Regional Department of Culture and the Art Gallery. The main purpose of the contest is to foster love for the mother, spiritual wealth and patriotism.

It should be noted that the participants of the competition are grouped by age characteristics and levels. The best works took the prize. One of the winners is Alnura Tursyngali, her work is recognized as the best among schoolchildren.

- This is the first time I participate in such a competition. Therefore, I have special feelings, I painted my picture for 18 hours. I am very glad that the work I showed was evaluated positively. I have been interested in art for 1.5 years, now I draw only with a black pencil, and in the future I want to master drawing with oil paint," says young artist Alnura Tursyngali.

According to the head of the Department of Culture of the Almaty region, Marlene Kapashuly, the art event has been held for the third year in a row.

"The competition among artists has ended today. 130 applicants took part in it, including 10 students, 21 professional artists, and the rest schoolchildren. The total prize fund is 700 thousand tenge. In the future, such events will be continued. So, as part of the celebration of the 330th anniversary of Kabanbai Batyr and Eskelda bi, it is planned to hold a plein air," says Marlena Kolbaeva, head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Almaty region.
