REGULATIONS OF THE CONTEST "THE BEST SOCIAL PROJECTS OF NGOs OF ALMATY region IMPLEMENTED in 2020-2021"
Objectives of the competition:
support of civil initiatives in solving social and socially significant problems of the regions;
formation of a positive image of social organizations, raising the status of non-governmental organizations providing social services in the territory of Almaty region;
The organizers of the contest:
Public association "tAmshybulak" commissioned by the State Institution "Department of Internal Policy of Almaty region".
General procedure of the competition:
Non-profit organizations of the Almaty region are allowed to participate, with the exception of political parties, trade unions, and religious associations.
The competition provides for consideration of any ideas and projects aimed at solving social problems in the regions of the region and implemented in the territory of the Almaty region in 2020-2021.
The competition is held in three stages:
1) The first stage is acceptance of applications and presentations, evaluation of submitted applications by members of the competition commission; The number of applications and participants is not limited.
2) The second stage is the consideration of applications by the competition commission in order to select the best five projects:
3) The third stage is the solemn awarding of the authors of the best projects.
2. The procedure for submitting competitive applications
To participate in the competition, you must submit an application formalized in accordance with the established form (Appendix 1), additionally attach a presentation of this project in PowerPoint format (slide) (Appendix 2).
The application must be submitted electronically to the email address of the NGO Consulting Center of Almaty region: npo2021@mail.ru . Applications that do not meet the established competitive requirements are not allowed to participate in the competition.
Applications are accepted in Kazakh or Russian.
3. The procedure for the work of the competition commission:
The competition commission consists of civil servants, representatives of NGOs, public figures, etc. The members of the competition commission carry out their activities on a voluntary, free of charge basis.
The Chairman of the competition commission is elected by the members of the competition commission. The decisions of the commission are made by open voting, by a simple majority, if there is a quorum of at least 2/3 of the composition.
The decisions of the competition commission are final and are not subject to revision. If necessary, the competition commission may request additional data to verify and confirm the results of the project.
The commission's decision is formalized by a protocol and signed by all members of the commission.
4. Criteria for selecting winners:
Projects admitted to participate in the competition are evaluated by the competition commission according to the following criteria:
1) social significance of the project;
2) relevance, innovative approaches to solving social problems;
3) targeting of the project, coverage of target groups;
4) the use of modern innovative technologies, forms and methods in the project;
5) compliance of the project activities with the tasks set;
6) the realism of the expected results, the sustainability and success of the project, the availability of prospects for the development of the project.
7) quantitative results of the project (provision of services, employment, involvement of target groups, information coverage, etc.)
To participate in the competition are allowed:
Social projects implemented in the Almaty region in 2020-2021. Social projects with long-term implementation are accepted. In this case, the results achieved in 2020 should be indicated.
5. Award ceremony
The total prize fund of the contest is 1,000,000 tenge in 5 nominations of 200,000 tenge:
- "Equal Opportunities Society";
- "Social entrepreneurship";
- "In harmony with the environment";
- "Rural life";
- "Start for the young".
Information about the date and place of the award ceremony will be communicated to all participants additionally.
Deadlines for submitting applications for the competition
Applications are accepted until November 5th, 2021.
