Population census in online mode

Everyone knows that from September 1 to October 30, 2021, a national population census will be held in the country. The process of collecting population data will be carried out in two ways. This was announced at a briefing in "Jetis Media" by the deputy head of the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics for the Almaty region, Dinara Moldagulova.

The first method – in the period from September 1 to October 15, Kazakhstanis will be able to online on a specialized website sanag.gov.kz answer all the questions that will be asked in the framework of the census. To pass the online survey, the respondent must register on the site, after successful registration and authorization on this site, he will be offered an electronic census form, which must be filled out for himself and family members. Access to the site will be provided around the clock.

The second method of the census is the traditional continuous round-up, which will be held from October 1 to October 30, and will be conducted among those respondents who did not pass the census online in the prescribed time.
"The innovation of the traditional stage will be the use of electronic tablets by interviewers during a continuous bypass. This will help to reduce the labor costs of census personnel, minimize the impact of the human factor on the quality of data, increase the level of reliability of population census data using IIN, significantly save paper and stationery, as well as increase the convenience and mobility of interviewers when collecting data," Dinara Moldagulova shared.

She also noted that all citizens of Kazakhstan, as well as foreign citizens and stateless persons who will be on the territory of the republic at the time of its conduct, fall under the procedure of the current census, without exception.
