"ZHETYSU - THE MAIN GATE OF THE GREAT SILK ROAD" CHARITY EXHIBITION AND FAIR OF ARTISANS OF THE ALMATY REGION

Within the framework of the program article of the Elbasy "Rukhani Zhangyru", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country's Independence, a charity exhibition-fair of artisans "Zhetysu-the main gate of the Great Silk Road"was held in the Eskeldinsky district. More than 20 craftsmen from all over the region took part in the fair, who presented various jewelry, felt and silk products, textiles and knitted, leather items, musical instruments, equestrian equipment, paintings.

The exhibition was organized by the akimat of Eskeldinsky district together with the public association "Altyn Adam Zhetisu Sheberler Ortalygy", the Council of Business Women of Almaty region, the district branch of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty region, the public association of disabled people "Alpamys".

At the grand opening, the akim of the district @rustam_ali noted the huge potential of folk crafts.

"Folk handicrafts are an integral part of the national culture and the tourism industry. Given the development of tourism in the country, the growing popularity of tourist places, handicrafts will become widespread. This trend will only strengthen, and we must raise it to a new level by providing different platforms for the promotion of national crafts," said the akim of the Eskeldinsky district, Rustam Ali.

Within the framework of the exhibition, master classes, a display of national clothes and a concert program were organized.
