On the celebration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day on May 7 in Almaty region

In honor of the Defender of the Fatherland Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a regional action plan was developed.

This year, the events dedicated to May 7 are held taking into account the accepted restrictions, according to the unified agenda and information and ideological support of the celebration, all events are planned to be held remotely in online mode. From May 5 to 7, the region will host events, challenges, marathons, seminars, and others, a total of 468 events dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day in an online format.

Competitions of patriotic songs, meetings, and round tables are held in all districts and cities.

In honor of the holiday, the Department of Culture, Archives and documentation organizes festive online concerts " Otandy Korga, Zhas sarbaz!", artists of the regional theater named after B. Rimova will recite poetic works and compositions on the theme "Otan - rukhy biik, askak ugym"through social networks as part of the celebration.

On May 7, the republican challenge for the song "Atameken" will be held on the "Zhastar"square in Taldykorgan.

The regional Museum of local lore named after M. Tynyshpayev and its branches hold educational hours, exhibitions on the theme "Asker-El korgany".

The Department for Youth Policy organized an online seminar "Otandy Korgau-er azamattyn mindeti", a youth stand-up (comedy art in which a comedian performs in front of a live audience).

In educational institutions, open lessons, class hours on the topics "Elin Korgau-erge sert", "Bolashak usin estelik" and military sports games are held in an online format.

On May 7, the mayor of the Kerbulak district will congratulate the servicemen of the Saryozek military garrison and a wreath-laying ceremony will be held in the alleys of the 43rd Tank Regiment and the 44th Artillery Regiment of the 12740th military unit.

Also, the mayor of the district sent a congratulatory letter to the parents of young soldiers who distinguished themselves in the Saryozek military garrison for honest and exemplary military service.
