On the celebration of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War on May 9 in the Almaty region

The Almaty region has developed and is implementing an action plan dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.

Events are held taking into account the accepted restrictions, according to the unified agenda and information and ideological support of the celebration, all events are planned to be held remotely in online mode.

Every year, veterans of the Great Patriotic War are paid one - time financial assistance for the holiday date-May 9, the Victory Day.

As of April 1, 2021, the number of participants and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War in the region is 41 people, including participants - 24, disabled people of the Great Patriotic War-17.

In 2021, 41 participants and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War are planned to receive one-time financial assistance in the amount of 41.0 million tenge (1000.0 thousand tenge for each) from the regional budget in honor of the 76th anniversary of the Victory.

In addition, it is planned to pay 15 categories of veterans who contributed to the Victory of the Great Patriotic War:

A total of 8,718 people are scheduled to receive one-time financial assistance by May 9 for a total amount of 3,281,170.0 thousand tenge. 7 veterans were given vouchers to rest in a sanatorium.

From May 1 to May 9, 1728 online concerts and live broadcasts will be held in the region, 26 museums and 2 galleries will hold 28 exhibitions and 56 online excuses, libraries will hold 840 bibliographic reviews of book exhibitions, 20 thematic challenges, 35 promotions, marathons.

The ceremony of honoring the veterans of the Great Patriotic War Kantarbai Sarsenbai and Mikhail Vasilyevich Baranov will be held in the regional center with the participation of the governor of the region A. Batalov.

Such events with the participation of akims will be held in all districts and cities.

The Health Department will organize an extended medical examination and distribute medical first-aid kits to WWII veterans and home front workers.

All educational institutions will organize thematic essays, drawing contests, and the challenge "My Grandfather is a hero" among schoolchildren.

"Immortal Regiment" events will be organized in all districts and cities in an online format.

On May 5, the regional Palace of Languages hosted a solemn presentation of the book "Sogys. Zhenis. Estelik".

On May 6, an online concert of the folk, folklore and ethnographic ensemble was held in front of the obelisk "Dank".

 

On May 7, the republican challenge for the song "Atameken" will be held on the Zhastar Square.

On May 4-10, the creative teams of the Department of Culture of Archives and Documentation will hold festive concerts in the online format " Zhyrlaymyz Uly Zhenisti!", " Otandy korga, Zhas sarbaz!".

Artists of the regional theater named after B. Rimova in the framework of the celebration recite through social networks poetic works and compositions on the theme "Otan-rukhy biik, askak ugym".

In the regional universal library named after S. Seifullin, as well as in all its district and city branches, literary hours and thematic evenings are held on the theme "Myn tagzym, Sagan Maidanger!»

In the regional Museum of Local lore named after M.Tynyshpaev and its district and city branches will host educational hours, exhibitions on the topic: "Asker-El korgany". The Center of Historical and Cultural Heritage organizes online educational hours on the theme: "Myn tagzym sagan, Maidanger!", dedicated to the historical monuments of the Zhetysu region.

The Department for Youth Policy organizes the environmental campaign "Park of Memory", "Clean Parks" (mass planting of trees in all regions, cleaning of parks and squares) and mobile concerts for veterans with the participation of youth and volunteer organizations.

Regional Uyghur ethno-cultural centers of Panfilov, Uyghur, Enbekshikazakh, Talgar, and Ili districts plan to hold events to distribute 800 food baskets to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers.

In Kegen district, it is planned to organize a thematic excursion "Erligi elge Mura", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the veteran of the Second World War, the knight of the Order "Kyzyl Zhuldyz" S. Serkebayev.

The project office of "Rukhani Zhangyru" will organize an intellectual game "28 Panfilovites" among the residents of Almaty region.

Also, in the building of the Zhetysu House of Students, congratulations will be held for the residents of Taldykorgan with the entry of the numbers "9" and"76".
