Birgemiz Bilim project

As part of the grant of the NGO "center for support of civil initiatives" with the support of the Ministry of information and public development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the NGO Social volunteer center "DOS.kz "implements" the national project "Birgemiz Bilim" to provide volunteer assistance in preparing for the UNT, teaching English, computer and legal literacy to high school students in rural areas of the Almaty region."

On November 20, the final conference on the project "Birgemiz Bilim" was held, where the results of the project were presented.

The winners of the Olympiad among 8th grade students of rural schools of Almaty region were awarded with 8 smartphones for 1st and 2nd places, 6 sets: a backpack and headphones.

The 10 best volunteers - winners of the contest for the Best volunteer received cash certificates of 50,000 tenge, 3 winners of the contest for the best educational project - certificates of 120,000 tenge and 3 teams, the winners of the contest for the best team result-cash certificates of 120,000 tenge.

In total, the project conducted a survey of more than 1,000 students.

554 students took part in the trainings, including a new project - the School of anti-corruption and legal literacy for children "ANTIKOR.INFO.KIDS".

In an online camp "DosCamp.kz" - 405 children.

In the Olympiads "Go beyond" - 250, in English – 71, in mathematics – 69 people.

In preparation for the UNT – 184 people for the period may-July. 80 % of students received a grant to universities and colleges of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In preparation for the UNT and conducting additional classes for the period September-November, about 100 students.

There are about 200 children in English classes during the entire project period.

In total, more than 3,000 high school students from rural schools in Almaty region took part in the project. Taking into account the fact that each student participated in several programs at the same time, 1036 students are covered by name in the compiled consolidated list.

Volunteers were involved in the project:

The project was implemented from March to November inclusive.

The results and experience will be summarized, analyzed, summarized, and recommendations will be shared with all interested parties.
