Festival «We the people of Kazakhstan»

The festival "We are Kazakhstanis", which was held from November 5 to 15 online, was completed.the goal of the festival was to create a tolerant consciousness among young people, create conditions for fostering respect for national traditions and culture, and promote the cultural heritage of the peoples living in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is worth noting that this festival is being held for the 14th time. The event is organized by the Almaty regional society of Greeks "eleftheria", with the support of KSU"Kogamdyk Kelisim".

The main objectives of the festival "We are Kazakhstanis" are to form a civil position of schoolchildren, providing for a respectful attitude to the culture of the peoples of Kazakhstan; creating a set of conditions for the development of creative and intellectual skills in children, forming a loyal position towards other nationalities through a spectacular event; introducing students to the cultural diversity of the nearest social environment, as well as promoting the formation of ethno-cultural tolerance of students.

The festival was held in three stages-preparatory, where class teachers together with parents and students chose a nationality, and then prepared three video presentations - national cuisine, which was a master class on cooking a particular dish; folk crafts-decorative and applied arts and folk art-dances, songs. The second stage consisted of posting video presentations on social networks. And the third stage-summing up the results of the festival "We are Kazakhstanis", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, which was held in the Assembly hall of school No. 17.Panfilovo of Talgar district. Deputy Director of KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" Zhandos Baykamitov, head of the Department for interethnic relations Saule Surabaldinova, Chairman of the Association of Greek societies of Kazakhstan "Filia" Georgy Iordanidi, Chairman of the Almaty regional society of Greeks "eleftheria" Natalia Tifantsidi made congratulatory speeches.

As a result of the event, a rating table of participants was formed, after which diplomas, letters of thanks and valuable prizes were awarded.
