During the first 9 months of this year, the juvenile police units carried out a number of measures to prevent crimes committed by and against minors. As a result, more than 4 thousand administrative offenses were identified. This became known during a briefing on the information platform "Jetisy Media".
 
According to the head Of the juvenile police Department Medet Kunanbayev, as a result of the activities carried out, 354 minor children and 238 dysfunctional families prone to offenses were registered by the police. Currently, juvenile police inspectors have taken these individuals under control, and individual preventive work is being carried out with each of them.
 
Since the beginning of the year, 4 operational and preventive measures aimed at preventing this category of crimes have been carried out in the region. As well as weekly on weekends, inspectors of the juvenile police of the city and districts of the region conduct special RAID events.
 
He also noted that 139 cases of crimes were registered against minors this year, which decreased by 21.5% compared to the same period last year. There were also 84 crimes that infringe on the sexual integrity of minors. Their level decreased by 9.6% compared to last year.
 
It should be noted that in the new academic year, in connection with distance learning of schoolchildren, legal propaganda among teenagers is carried out together with education departments in online mode. In this regard, more than 100 similar events were held in schools.
 
To date, 182 school inspectors work in 760 institutions of secondary and General education, and 596 "Young police assistants" units have been created out of 6007 students.
 
In addition, in order to ensure the safety of children in 760 educational institutions, 183 preschool institutions, 43 state institutions of technical and vocational education, video surveillance devices have been installed in the most crowded places and courtyards of educational institutions.
