On the socio-political situation in Almaty region
The Department of internal policy implements the state policy aimed at ensuring statehood and unity of the people, strengthening socio-political stability, formation of civic activity and social positive attitude of the population of the region, support and development of civil society institutions, strengthening the competitiveness of the information sphere of the region, strengthening interethnic and interfaith relations in the region.
Representatives of 105 nationalities and nationalities live in the region, there are 68 ethno-cultural centers, 462 active non-governmental organizations, 10 public associations of the "Union of Veterans" of Almaty region,15 branch trade union organizations, 70 youth associations, 193 mass media, 644 religious associations and branches, 6 regional branches of political parties.
Work is underway to create a positive climate in society, maintain the stability of the socio-political situation and prevent hotbeds of social tension.

According to the results of monitoring of YouTube channels, social networks (Facebook, Instagramm, Vk), 8347 materials were identified related to Almaty region, including 3878 (47%) publications with negative content, mainly related to the housing sector (water, roads, electricity, etc.). Based on the analysis, it can be noted that 35-40% of negative publications relate to the sphere of Housing and communal services.
Since the beginning of the year,according to the plan, an online survey on 14 topics, a street survey on 3 topics, an in-depth interview on 1 topic and a 5-Point study were conducted, in which 61,385 respondents took part.
In connection with the elections of mayors of rural districts, the socio-political situation in the region is under special control. To date, elections have been held in 80 rural districts of the region.
About interethnic relations
The socio-political situation in the region is under constant control, monitoring is carried out, and information is sent weekly to the Ministry of Information and public development.
About 25 representatives of KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim", including ethno-cultural centers, take an active part in maintaining interethnic harmony and stability in the region in social networks.
During the reporting period, they published more than 600 materials on their pages.
In connection with quarantine and restrictive measures, events were held in cities and districts of the region online or in compliance with security measures. Ethno-cultural associations held 124 offline and 51 online events during the reporting period.
These events covered representatives of all ethnic groups living in the region, contributed to the strengthening of interethnic harmony and Kazakhstan's patriotism.
By public agreement
According to the results of 9 months of the current year, 312 councils of public consent work in Almaty region. Of these, there are councils of public consent at 1 regional, 3 City, 17 district, and 291 rural levels. The number of members is 1108 people. They are representatives of ethno-cultural centers, veterans, mothers, youth, representatives of non-governmental organizations, trade unions, mayors of rural districts and district police inspectors.

By mediation
In total, 68 mediation offices have been opened in Almaty region, including 1 in the House of friendship, 17 in the District, 3 in the city akimats and 47 in the court buildings. In the region, 12 professional mediators, 306 non-professional mediators, and 21 mediators are registered in the register. There are 1 mediation council in the region. 33 events were held in the district, cities and the Regional Center.
In each district of Almaty region, open days were held with the participation of mediators and lawyers of these districts. Also, meetings of mediators are held in each district according to the plan.
In order to develop the state language and transform the Kazakh language into the language of interethnic communication, KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of Almaty region conducts training of representatives of other ethnic groups in two groups: the primary group "til Damu" and the continuing Group "transaction situational Kazakh".Also, in the language training center of the House of friendship, native languages of ethnic groups are taught free of charge. 1 time a Week, 7 people study Tatar, and 5 people study Chechen. 10 people study Tatar 2 times a week at the Medical College in Uzynagash village of Zhambyl district.Taldykorgan Association of Germans "wiedergeburg" will teach German to 90 children from 6 groups.

During the reporting period, within the framework of the Republican charity marathon "30 Good Deeds", 1084 charity events were organized in Almaty region by the regional assembly of people of Kazakhstan, patrons, mothers, councils of public consent, volunteers of the district and city, which amounted to 170 million US dollars. On internet resources - 381 publications, including 126 at the National, 157 - at the regional and 98 – at the district level. On the commission for rehabilitation of victims of political repression:
In Almaty region, the work of the Regional Commission for the rehabilitation of victims of political repression is actively carried out. The headquarters of the Regional Commission was established under the project office "Ruhani zhangyru".

In addition, work has begun on the study of personal files of special settlers (more than 5,100) and 25 "books of accounting of special settlers located on the territory of the special Commandant's office", stored in the archive of the Department of Legal Statistics and special records of the general prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty region.
In the course of the study, the working groups found that in the Semirechye province in 1920-1932 there were 14 major armed popular uprisings.
