"Solid homeland"

More than 130 nationalities live on the endless steppes of the Kazakh land. Therefore, May 1 is considered the day of unity of the people of Kazakhstan. And this day is one of the biggest holidays for Kazakhstanis. As the old Kazakh proverb says, “there is no life without unity”. People in Kazakhstan do not get tired of celebrating this holiday.

This holiday has a special place for a country that adheres to the principle of "unity is the source of prosperity and peace in the country." Today, each of the national cultural centers, united under one roof called "Shanyrak", sings, dances and performs at a national holiday full of traditions and customs.

In connection with the quarantine situation in the country, the event was held online, ethnocultural associations took part in the concert program, which sent their congratulations through social networks.

On April 29, the concert program was held online at the city House of Culture. During the concert, representatives of Russian, Korean, Uyghur ethnocultural associations of the city congratulated the residents of the city on May 1, the Day of Unity of the People, each ethnic group in its own language. The concert program included performances by the creative team of the city House of Culture, the club in the village of Arna, and representatives of ethnocultural associations.
