The standing commissions of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat held public hearings

Public hearings organized by the standing commissions of the Almaty Region Maslikhat were held at the Alatau Hub venue in Konaev. The agenda included the implementation of the state youth policy, as well as the proposed sale through public auction of six unused municipal properties in the Enbekshikazakh District and one healthcare facility in the Ili District.

Madі Akhmetov, Head of the Regional Youth Policy Department, reported that the region continues to implement measures aimed at youth employment, entrepreneurship development, and increasing civic engagement. He noted that thousands of young people have benefited from employment support programs this year, while the Zhasyl El program, youth resource centers, and volunteer initiatives continue to operate successfully.

On the second agenda item, Deputy Head of the Regional Education Department Diana Onbyrbayeva presented a proposal to auction six unused municipal properties in the Enbekshikazakh District. According to the report, the former school and community club buildings are no longer in use due to the construction of new educational facilities or declining student numbers, and most of them are in poor technical condition.

In addition, Deputy Head of the Regional Health Department Kaiyrzhan Ongarov presented a proposal to auction the unused former feldsher-midwife station building located in Yntymak village of the Ili District. The facility has remained vacant since a new outpatient clinic opened and is now in poor condition.

At the conclusion of the public hearings, the deputies unanimously supported continuing efforts to improve the implementation of the state youth policy and approved the proposal to dispose of the unused municipal properties through public auction in accordance with the law.
