Special zones for car owners: statistics after the state of emergency

In may, almost all public service centers were reopened in the country. Special zones for car owners are no exception. Despite the fact that special centers in different regions started functioning on different days in may, during the month, the car centers managed to provide almost 174 thousand public services.
The government has calculated for citizens, motorists of which regions were waiting for the opening of special zones the most.
So, the three leaders in re-registration of motor vehicles, traditionally included the cities of Shymkent, Nur-Sultan and Almaty. Special zones of these cities re-registered 16 ,15, 14 thousand cars, respectively. And if spezzoni Nur-Sultan and Shymkent opened at the same time – 12 may, spezzoni Almaty by the decision of the health officer of the southern capital, started to take in customers only may 25. Therefore, Almaty can be considered the undisputed leader in providing public services for car registration.
In fourth place – Karaganda region. Here, more than 12,5 thousand people have applied for the service of re-registration of transport, given that the special center of Karaganda was opened the very first – on may 4.
The smallest number of cars at the end of the month was registered in the West Kazakhstan region – only 2.4 thousand cars.
The situation with issuing and replacing driver's licenses is slightly different. Most of them were issued in the Karaganda region – more than 5 thousand. A little less than in Shymkent and Almaty. Almost 4.5 thousand driver's licenses were issued to drivers of the Almaty region. The least number of driver's licenses issued in the specified period to residents of the West Kazakhstan region – only 804 driver's licenses since may 8.
PSCs of Zhambyl region did not participate in the rating. According to the decision of the operational staff, they resumed their work only in early June.
Recall that after the end of the state of emergency, PSC provide services only by appointment. You can book a queue on the portal egov.kz, via the telegram bot eGovKzBot2. 0 or by calling the short number 1414.
By the way, you can re-register a car and replace your driver's license on the egov portal.kz and via the egov mobile app. Also, recently, on the e-government portal, you can restore a lost license plate and register a car purchased at a car dealership.
