Citizens of Kazakhstan now have the opportunity to get EDS remotely, using a passport. In order to use the service, you must go to the e-government portal, in the "Services" field, select "Get EDS remotely"from the list. Then you need to go through the standard procedure for getting keys.

Until now, when receiving EDS remotely, in some cases, the system could not identify the owner of the document due to the expired period of validity of the certificate, so the user's request was sent for moderation, which required additional time. Using a passport as an alternative identity document when receiving EDS in a remote format will facilitate identification, including in cases when the validity period of the identity card has expired.
