On November 15, our national currency – Tenge entered into circulation.

On November 15, our national currency – Tenge entered into circulation. This day is rightfully celebrated in our state as the original holiday of financiers. It should be noted that such artists as Timur Suleimenov, Mendibay Alin, Agymsaly Duzelkhanov, Kairolla Abzhalelov built our national currency. And the name of the national currency tenge was proposed by Academician of the International Academy of Engineers, a well-known scientist, owner of the USSR State Prize Zhetysu Takezhanov. Currently, our own Tenge is produced at the National Bank's factory in Almaty, and coins are produced at the Mint in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
