Fire safety rules for recreation in wooded areas!

Fire is cruel and cruel. It is important not to forget about this, especially on hot summer days. The dry and windy climate, the abundance of herbaceous vegetation, which is typical for many regions of Kazakhstan, contributes to the rapid spread of Steppe fires in a large area. Almaty region is one of these regions, because it has a rich nature, a lot of beautiful places. The burning of tens and hundreds of hectares of rich, forest and steppe fields, hayfields and pastures, unfortunately, occurs through the fault of people.

A sign of the occurrence of a forest (peat) fire is: the smell of permanent burns, fog

like smoke, birds, the restlessness of animals, the darkness of night on the horizon.

How to extinguish a small forest fire?

- determine the wind direction and speed of fire propagation;

- send a messenger to the nearest village to warn residents about the fire, call for help;

- bury the fire with Earth and pour water over it;

- With a bunch of branches of 1.5-2 meters and wet clothes, bring the fire to the ground, do not let it go;

- trample a small fire;

- extinguish the fire, do not rush to leave, make sure that it does not ignite again.

If you are in a fire zone:

- if it is not possible to extinguish the fire on your own, it is necessary to determine the direction of fire spread and the route of exit;
