Akim of the district congratulated on the librarian's day

In the conference hall of the district akimat, akim of Kegen District T.Bayedilov congratulated the veteran librarian and library staff on the librarian's Day, presented regional and district certificates of Honor and letters of thanks.

The kegen District Library was opened in 1928 as the Karkara District Library.

In 1979, it was transformed into the Kegen district centralized library system.

In 1997, it was renamed the Raiymbek District Library.

In accordance with the decree of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2018 No. 653" on changes in the administrative-territorial structure of Almaty region", by the resolution of the akimat of Kegen District No. 50 dated July 19, 2018, the municipal state institution" kegen District Library " was established.

In 2019, rural libraries were opened in Algabas,Saty, Uzunbulak, Zhylysay, Tuyuk, Karabulak, Tasashi, Buleksaz, and Karkarinsky rural districts.

There are 13 libraries affiliated to the municipal state institution" kegen District Library".

For 9 months of 2020, 9,878 readers were attracted in the district.

The total book collection in the district is 122,602 copies.

This year, 2,188 copies of new books have been added to the fund.
