Appointed head of the regional development Center of Almaty region

Chingiz Makashev was appointed Director Of the regional development center of Almaty region. Chingiz Makashev was born in 1985. he graduated from the Kazakh University of Railways, University of Houston (Houston, USA), University of Wollongong in Dubai (Dubai, UAE) with a degree in Finance and management. He has extensive experience in Analytics and working with investors. He started his career in second-tier banks in Kazakhstan. Over the years, he worked as a sales Manager for various large companies in Dubai. From 2014 to 2016 he worked in JSC " NC "Astana EXPO-2017" as a Manager of the Department of Commerce and investment attraction. Later, he became a senior expert at the center for analytical and methodological support of project management of the Institute of economic research, where he was seconded as a Project Manager To the center for project management of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From February 2019 to the present day, he held the position of Deputy Director of the Regional development center of Almaty region. We remind that "Regional development center of Almaty region" LLP is a subsidiary of the Department of entrepreneurship and industrial and innovative development of the region. The company is engaged in development of investment attractiveness of the region.
