A greenhouse complex for growing tomatoes was launched in Kapshagai city

On the eve of the 30th anniversary of Independence in Kapshagai city of Almaty region, the 4th stage of a greenhouse complex for growing tomatoes with a capacity of 2500 tons of products per year and an area of ​​4 hectares was opened. Thanks to the opening, another 70 new working places were created, 3.5 billion tenge of investments were attracted, - the press service of the akim of Almaty region reports.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the akim of Kapshagai Nurlan Kumataev noted that the volume of industrial production of Kapshagai amounted to 107.4 billion tenge, and the agricultural sector is also pleased with the achievements:

- I sincerely congratulate all of you on the anniversary date - the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Thanks to our independence, all spheres of the economy are successfully developing. Our Kapshagai city is an example of this, where both industrial and agricultural sectors are actively developing. Today, there are 325 farms in the region, the sown area exceeding 13 thousand hectares. The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to 22.6 billion tenge, which is 1 billion tenge more than last year. And today we are opening another important object for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region - the greenhouse complex "LST Agro", with the opening of which 3.5 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the economy of Kapshagai. I am sure that the modern facility will make a significant contribution to providing the population with high-quality agricultural products of domestic production, - noted N. Kumataev.

According to the head of the greenhouse complex, Samat Mukhamedyarov, he began work on its development in 2013. The "Business Road Map" state program became a good support, thanks to which over 1 billion tenge was received.

- Since 2013, I have consistently carried out all 4 stages of expansion of the greenhouse complex. Now about 150 people work at the enterprises of LST Agro. In the new complex, built within six months, all the equipment necessary for the favorable growth of tomatoes was installed, we use the method of drip irrigation, Dutch technologies, to improve pollination, Dutch bees were brought in. In January we will start selling tomatoes from this new greenhouse. About 180 tomato bushes are planted in one row, one branch 150 meters, the other 140 meters. The average yield is 90 tons per hectare. We plan to receive 2-2.5 thousand tons of quality products per year. We grow tomatoes and eggplants in our greenhouses.

In general, we provide the local market, the cities of Almaty, Nur-Sultan and enter the Russian markets. There are export offers to Belarus. Next year we want to add cucumbers and peppers "Traffic light", - said the entrepreneur S. Mukhamedyarov his plans.

According to the akimat of Kapshagai, with the commissioning of all 4 phases of the greenhouse complex of LSTAgro LLP, 4-4.5 thousand tons of products will be produced per year.
