Plans for the possibility of growing GMO-free soybeans were discussed in Almaty region. This became known during a visit by the akim of Almaty region, Kanat Bozumbayev, to the Ile district with a working visit, - the press service of the akim of Almaty region reports.
Within the framework of the visit, Kanat Bozumbayev visited Agritech LLP for deep processing of soybeans, where he got acquainted with the production process and the arrangement of the plant.
As it became known, the plant's capacity is 6.5 thousand tons of soy isolate per year, it is widely used in the food industry. Today, the export-oriented enterprise has reached 70 percent of its capacity, the total cost of the project is 3.7 billion tenge. The products are supplied to the local market, used in the production of sausages. For now, a line has been launched for the production of fermented soy protein using nanotechnology, which significantly increases its digestibility, which means it can be used in the production of baby and sports nutrition. It is important to note that only high quality non-GMO soybeans are used in the production. So far, edible soybean meal is supplied from Russia, since the local one is only suitable for animal feed and is not intended for food production.
- Our region has a good experience of growing soybeans. Therefore, it is necessary to connect you with local farms, if you provide them with high-quality seeds, it will be possible to establish non-GMO soybean cultivation. Then you don't have to use imported raw materials. In addition, we have big plans for the reconstruction of irrigation networks. So there are all the possibilities, - noted the akim of the region K. Bozumbayev during his introduction with the process of the enterprise.
Also, Kanat Bozumbayev inquired about plans for the further development of the plant. As noted by representatives of the company's management, the emphasis is on vertical integration. Akim of the region assured that support will be provided to solve the problem with power outages and purchase a second backup boiler for steam for production.
During his visit to the region, Kanat Bozumbayev got acquainted with the development projects of the satellite city Gate city.
The head of "Alatau" JSV Askar Tutubaev reported on the plans for the development of the satellite city, the work done, the existing infrastructure and existing problems.
According to the speaker, the project of the first satellite city, Gate city, with a total area of 2,370 hectares, is ongoing, with a projected population of 90 thousand people. In May, the construction of 10 houses with a total area of 43 thousand square meters began. meters of housing, all trunk networks are available, in general, the entire basic infrastructure of life has been built. But a shortage of gas and water capacities is expected, there is also a question with the sewerage system, which is intended for both domestic and industrial facilities, which is unacceptable.
In this regard, it is necessary to carry out those checks of all objects in order to subsequently, if necessary, carry out overhauls and commissioning.
After listening to the report, Kanat Bozumbayev instructed to provide a report on land plots:
- First of all, once again you need to consider in detail the master plan. To do this, create a regional commission to study the history of the land issue with the participation of all owners. Find out if they have the ability to develop land or not. Then we will take appropriate measures, - the regional akim emphasized.
Then the regional akim Kanat Bozumbayev visited the "Damu" industrial and logistics center and the plant for the production of pumping equipment "Wilo" located on its territory - one of the 9 projects of transnational companies implemented in the Almaty region with the attraction of 2 billion tenge of investment. This is a high-tech export-oriented production of a high level of automation for the collection of pumping stations. One of the main distinguishing features of the pumps produced here is their energy efficiency and the use of the most modern technologies. For example, the company already uses liquid magnet pumps. Products are exported to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, up to 500 units of products are produced per year, the company has offices in Nur-Sultan, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Atyrau.
Having introduced himself with the range of products, having visited the production workshop and the finished product warehouse, Kanat Bozumbayev made a proposal to organize the production of pumping stations, and not only their assembly, while all the necessary support will be provided.
