Yerlan Koshanov introduced the new akim to the active of Almaty region

Today, the head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Koshanov, introduced Kanat Bozumbayev to the active of Almaty region, by the Decree of the Head of State appointed to the post of akim of the region. On behalf of the President of State, he expressed gratitude for the work done to Amandyk Batalov, who previously headed the region, - the press service of the akim of Almaty region reports.

- Today I arrived on behalf of the Head of State in connection with personnel changes. By the decree of the President of State, Batalov Amandyk Gabbasovich was relieved of his post as akim of the Almaty region. He led the region for 7 years. During this period, the region has achieved high economic performance. Amandyk Gabbasovich adequately fulfilled all the tasks assigned to him. The head of state highly appreciated the work of Amandyk Gabbasovich and instructed me to convey gratitude for his many years of fruitful work as akim of the Almaty region, his great contribution to the development of the region and increasing its socio-economic potential. I am sure that in the future the accumulated experience and knowledge of Amandyk Gabbasovich will still bring considerable benefit to our society. By agreement with the deputies of the regional maslikhat, by the decree of the President of State, Kanat Bozumbayev was appointed akim of the Almaty region. You all know Kanat Aldabergenovich well, he is your fellow countryman, he has extensive experience in regional management, was the akim of Zhambyl and Pavlodar regions, headed national companies, worked fruitfully for many years as the Minister of Energy, until today he worked as Assistant to the President of State. The development of the Almaty region is under the special control of the Head of State, therefore we believe that the new akim of the region will adequately fulfill the tasks assigned to them, - said the head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.Koshanov, congratulating Kanat Bozumbayev on his appointment and wishing him success in his work.

- For 20 years I have worked in the Almaty region. First of all, I express my gratitude to the Elbasy for the trust and appointment to such a high position. For my part, together with the team I tried to work effectively to achieve the set tasks. I would like to express my gratitude to the President of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for the extension of his term of office, thanks to which I had the opportunity to implement my plans and projects. For me, the Zhetysu region has become native, close to my heart. I express my sincere gratitude to the Elbasy and the President. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank Erlan Zhakanovich for the support provided during the work. I wish Kanat Aldarbergenovich success in his work. The new akim of the Almaty region, Kanat Bozumbayev, spoke in response.

- The head of state appointed me to the position of akim of the Almaty region. This is a great responsibility. Border region with great potential. Therefore, it is important to use the available opportunities for the benefit of the residents of the region. Much has been done in the region under the leadership of Amandyk Gabbasovich. There are many new tasks ahead. For my part, I will make every effort to justify the high confidence placed in me by the President of State and to work to improve the welfare of citizens and the development of the region's economy, - K.
