Having made a report, Amandyk Batalov spoke about the results of the social-economic development of the region for 10 months of the implementation of the Statement.

They were interested in the region's achievements of 30 years of Independence, the development of the region's infrastructure, promising investment projects implemented on the territory of the "Khorgos - Eastern Gate" SEZ, as well as plans for the satellite city Gate city, provision of coal, restoration of irrigation, ncluding in the Balkhash region , gas, the development of tourism on the Balkhash coast, the opening of plants for the processing of solid waste, the creation of new productions, the solution of the problem of three-shift schools, the construction of an affordable house, the production of a domestic vaccine, the prices of socially significant goods and etc.
For example, answering a question from a journalist of the “STV” TV channel about new projects being implemented jointly with transnational companies, Amandyk Batalov said that the German concern Baumann and the largest American company Tyson Food had begun work on projects to build two factories in the region for the meat processing from small cattle and cattle.

According to A. Batalov, the Government provides the necessary support, the first part of the tranche in the amount of 4.7 billion tenge has been allocated.
“The works are going according to the schedule, we plan to complete them before the next tourist season. Now examples link Usharal with the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Taldykorgan. We are receiving offers from Omsk, Tomsk and Novosibirsk. The planned Usharal airport will receive large planes, including from the named cities,” A. Batalov said.
Answering a question about the development of tourism on the shores of Balkhash lake, Amandyk Batalov said that, together with investors, the issue of modern recreation areas. The project provides for the construction of water supply systems (16.4 km), sewerage (16.4 km), power supply lines (16.1 km) and a road (9.3 km). In the development of road infrastructure, the reconstruction of the Almaty-Oskemen-Lepsy-Aktogay highways is underway.
