Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has visited "Mareven Food Tien-Shan" LLP in Almaty region

The President has been informed about the production potential of the company. According to the company's management data, the volume of investments amounted to over 30 billion tenge, the building area reached 4.5 hectares. It produces food products using innovative equipment and advanced technologies from Switzerland, Japan, and Germany. The capacity of the factory is 85 thousand tons of finished products per year.

Currently, the company produces 500 million packages of products, where about 70 % is exported. In total, 670 people are working in "Mareven Food Tien-Shan" LLP, 95% of whom are residents of nearby settlements.
Therefore, Akim of the region Amandyk Batalov reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the socio-economic situation in the region and the investment projects implementation.

According to the akim’s report, 312 billion tenge of investments have been attracted to the regional economy, over 40 thousand jobs have been created. This year, 65 facilities are being commissioned with a total cost of 112 billion tenge.

Amandyk Batalov said that within the framework of the agreements reached during the last year's visit of the Head of State to Germany, the Baumann company launched the Zhetysu Koy project for deep processing of small cattle with a capacity of 30 thousand tons.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highly appreciated the investment projects being implemented in the region and instructed to complete their commissioning in time.
