Kazcenter housing and utilities JSC and "KazAeroSpace" LLP signed a Memorandum of cooperation aimed at promoting the project "heat and energy efficiency Map", Taldykorgan-online reports.kz with reference to JSC "Kazakhstan center for modernization and development of housing and communal services".
The agreements reached provide for aerospace monitoring of the thermal and energy efficiency of real estate, engineering networks and communications using satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles, using thermal imaging technology.
In addition, the parties plan to develop, implement and maintain geoinfocommunication systems in the housing and utilities sector by creating a unified geospatial database of engineering communications in the country's cities.
The parties also intend to conduct marketing research on the use of aerospace technologies in the housing and utilities sector and research and development work on improving energy efficiency.
The Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazakhstan center of housing and communal services" Nursultan Jienbaev noted that the last year transformation of the activities of the Kazakhstan center of housing and communal services has led to necessity to use the potential of the aerospace industry of Kazakhstan for the development of utilities.
"The aerospace monitoring data will provide systematization of reliable and up-to-date information about public infrastructure facilities, their technical and economic status and property rights. In addition, increasing information transparency will have a positive impact on the quality of management decisions, improving energy efficiency and attracting investment in the housing and utilities sector," he said.
In turn, General Director of LLP "KazAeroSpace" Kaziev Baglan said that the mapping of teploenergoeffektivnye is great potential for the development of technologies to save energy and prevent heat loss, and aerospace monitoring and Earth remote sensing. In addition, this project will have a multiplier effect in the form of creating new jobs and implementing high-tech solutions.
In the future, the parties plan to implement a number of pilot projects, such as thermal imaging (in the infrared frequency range) of roofs and facades of residential buildings for comparative analysis of energy efficiency of buildings and structures, and the introduction of an automated geoinformation system for housing and utilities needs. The use of automated geographic information systems will provide an extensive information and analytical tool for studying and regulating General trends in the development of housing and communal services, and will significantly reduce the cost of planning, repair and reconstruction of new and existing engineering networks.
