MEETING WITH DEPUTIES OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE MAJILIS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

In accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, deputies of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Dementieva and V. Nabiyev held a meeting at the Esik Humanitarian and Economic College on December 20 in order to carry out information and explanatory work among the population on topical issues of interethnic relations.

The meeting was attended by young people, leaders of public opinion, members of public consent councils and local self-government bodies, representatives of educational organizations, non-governmental organizations, mass media, active bloggers, representatives of religious institutions.

During the meeting, the report of the head of the district Department of Internal Policy M. Islamov on the interethnic situation was heard, a number of citizens of our district who took an active part in strengthening interethnic relations were awarded a letter of thanks from the Republican Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
