Anti-corruption measures

Our state, like many other countries of the world, conducts purposeful work to prevent and prevent corruption. Kazakhstan is one of the first CIS countries to adopt anti-corruption legislation and join international conventions on this issue.
Currently, the Law is aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, ensuring the national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan from threats arising from manifestations of corruption, ensuring the effective operation of state bodies, officials and other persons performing state functions, as well as persons equated to them, by preventing, detecting, suppressing and disclosing offenses related to corruption, eliminating their consequences and bringing perpetrators to justice, defines the basic principles of combating corruption, establishes types of offenses, related to corruption, as well as the conditions for the onset of responsibility.
The state revenue bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan play an important role in the system of state administration, which are executive authorities that, within their competence, provide legal support for the activities of the state, maintain the rule of law in the work of state bodies, organizations, officials and citizens, ensure the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations. Corruption can destroy the effective functioning and weaken the ability of state revenue bodies to perform their functions. Therefore, one of the priority areas of activity in the state revenue bodies is the prevention and suppression of corruption crimes and offenses.
For the effectiveness of the work carried out, an action plan is developed and implemented annually to limit the manifestations of corruption in the state revenue bodies, as well as helplines are functioning on an ongoing basis. The implementation of the envisaged measures will make it possible to intensify the activities of state bodies and society to combat corruption, to ensure the priority of protecting the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens from criminal encroachments.
